Who Is Brother Jones ArtWorks™?
Brother
Jones ArtWorks™ is collaboration of "fraternal might" consisting of
Dennis, Donald, and Doug Jones. QDP is proud to introduce them into the
fundraising arena.
In an effort to find something that is new and different, QDP is introducing a new line of greeting cards that we are sure will be a hit with people young and old. We have designed these cards with a different kind of mind-set. Instead of the traditional greeting cards that you can buy anywhere, these cards are tailored for all audiences and all occasions.
How Did We Find Them?
Dennis Jones (the illustrator of our pictures) is a member of John Gardner's church. Through casual conversation, John learned of Dennis' artistic abilities. After spending an afternoon in Dennis' third-floor art studio, John was overwhelmed by all of the illustrations that Dennis had stashed in every nook and cranny.
John then sent a couple of QDPers out to Dennis' house on a mission to narrow down some of the pictures for possible cards. After looking through a few hundred pictures, the list was narrowed to around 25 pieces of art.
It was at this point that Dennis mentioned the idea of grouping the cards together into categories. And so, the Critter cards, Kid cards, Patriotic cards, and Hero cards came to be.
