As
the Reader evaluates the information against predefined business rules, it sends
questionable data to the Verifier. You can set the Verifier program to
three different verification modes: characters, fields and forms.
You
can set the Verifier program to force every field and form to be reviewed by a
human, or set it to only review questionable data. You can further ensure
accurate data through database validations, user-defined dictionary look ups,
numeric range tests, and "always review" and "entry required" field
designations. The Verifier can validate information against arithmetic
comparisons, financial calculations and other logical routines.
When a form is queued for verification a designated human
operator
will see the form along with the questionable data highlighted at the bottom of
the screen. The operator can quickly correct the information by typing the
new information onto the screen and pressing Enter.
Forms that need further review can be sent to a research batch. By
separating these forms, the forms that have been verified can be committed
without delay. The research batch can be routed to another operator who
can reverify the information later.
The TELEform
Control Center gives administrators the ability to access reports regarding the
data collection process. The reports give information on every activity
from capturing data to data output across a network.
