Dear WinUltra Users,

As of July 1, 2006, support for all versions of Ultra or WinUltra prior to version 2.0 will be discontinued.

Now in our 23rd year with Ultra, we can no longer give quality support to versions of the program from years ago. For one thing, we are no longer using those programs and find it increasingly difficult to remember how something was done on a version purchased 6 - 8 - 10 years ago. So, we must discontinue support for the older versions and hope that the following will encourage you to update the version you have.

Our current version (WinUltra v2.2) has the following improvements and additions:

• Improved Data Entry module
  • Team screen allows you to quickly see team and the sellers within the team
     
• Automatic Prize Entry
  • Automatically enters prize designators during Data Entry, when using one prize per level
     
• Security Control
  • Ability to disable menu options to prevent people from having access to sensitive parts of the program
     
• Direct export of all data to Excel or ASCII text file
   
• Ability to have company logo on printouts, can also print color logos
   
• New underlying database
  • Now uses Flash Filer Database. Easier to deploy and setup, small in size, doesn’t require any external libraries
     
• Scan product as it comes off truck and then import data to update Inventory & Purchase Orders (with optional IScan Module)
   
• Import Inventory and Brochures with a few keystrokes
   
• Interface w/ Quickbooks Accounting
  • Can send WinUltra Invoice/Purchase Order into Quickbooks, to create itemized Quickbooks invoice or purchase orders
  • Can Import/Export from WinUltra into Quickbooks or from Quickbooks into WinUltra
     
• Ability to duplicate Prize Brochures & Levels
  • For those times when you have prizes or levels that change slightly from group to group
     
• More sort features in Customer Data File
   
• Ability to tag & print bad designators
  • For those orders where the written designator doesn’t exist or may have been transposed, you can now denote the information and show your “best guess” as to what they ordered. The discrepancies can then be printed out on a report for the group or be printed on the Pack Slip for the seller
     
• UTally (formerly Merge Disk)
  • UTally information can now be put on a USB drive in addition to using floppies. Also, when doing entry, data is stored on the hard drive of the computer, and when group is done, it is then copied back to input media.
     
• Backorders
  • Can now generate a backorder sellers listing, by Item, by Class or by Seller
     
• Reports
  • Bad Designator Report
     
  • Problem notice seller listing
    • For pre-paid sales, this is a list of the sellers showing the amount due, amount collected, and the variance
       
  • Multi Group File Page
    • Select multiple groups to generate a File Page totaling all items for those groups
       
  • One click option to print all main reports
    • Print Complete Printout, Pack Slips, Invoice, and Overall Ranking etc with one click
       
• Ability to
  • Print Pack Slips w/ Sections
    • If you have different people responsible for groups of product on your packing line, then you can have the pack slip print listing those items in the sections you set up
       
  • Split Brochures on Pack Slip
    • Can have 2 brochures print on one page of the pack slip and the third brochure on the next page
       
  • Print Pack Slip or Envelopes alphabetized by the entire group
    • In addition to printing in the order in which sellers are entered or alphabetized within each class, you can now have the pack slips or envelopes printed alphabetical by the entire group
       
  • Print subtotal for each brochure on the Pack Slip
     
  • See Negative numbers in Inventory (On Order, On Hand, Available) show up in different colors

Home Delivery – the new frontier

WinUltra gives you the ability to enter addresses (Seller or End Customer) so that you can print labels or export addresses to a shipping/mailing program in order to ship/mail orders directly to seller or end customer, bypassing having to ship everything back to the group.
