You are running a business and are concerned about
justifying large purchases. This is understandable when considering issues
such as: will this product increase productivity? Is it cost effective?
And the most important question of all, how long before this product pays
for itself?
Manual Data EntryNote: The following comes from the Data Entry Management Association and then compiled by Cardiff Software, the designer of the TELEform program. Your keystrokes and pay amounts for fundraising tallying may be different. At 1000 forms a day with 500 characters per page, you would expect 500,000 keystrokes per day. According to the Data Entry management Association, an average data entry clerk can process about 11,000 keystrokes per hour for a 7-hour work day. Using those numbers, you would need 6 data entry clerks to enter the incoming data. Based upon an average hourly wage of $10/hr this data entry results in a cost of approximately $9,600 per month without benefits. With TELEform EliteAssuming a conservative recognition rate of 80% by TELEform, only 20% of the 500,000 keystrokes would need to be processed for questionable entries. This equates to a new keystroke total of 100,000 per workday. Based on the same daily average, you will need 1 data entry clerk to process those same 1000 forms.
