Tally + Pre-Pack Service

QDP has been tallying orders for fundraisers and schools for about sixteen years now. We really know what we are doing and do it better than anybody.

When we tally orders for other fundraisers, your company name prints on all reports.

We use our own, internally designed and developed WinUltra Order Tally Program to tally orders. Then, we pack your orders using our WinScan Order Accuracy Verification System where all orders are scanned electronically.

Programs available for Tally & Pre-Pack Service

  • QDP Custom Brochure. Check out Celebrate America. Features "the best from the best" with product supplied by Giftco, Scott's, Imagination in Action and a few specialty suppliers. There are three ways to use our brochure:
    1. You purchase the brochure and source the product yourself.
    2. Purchase brochure and all product to the piece through QDP.
    3. We become your Total Service Provider - offering tally, packing, customer support, and accounts receivable services.
  • Brother Jones ArtWorks is another QDP Custom Brochure. This brochure is available for Home Delivery service.
  • United We Stand, from Richer Marketing and Cathedral Art, is a six-item jewelry brochure with a patriotic theme. Of special interest in Fall 2002 will be the "God Bless America" pin. Keep in mind that Fall 2002 will be the 1-yr anniversary of the 9/11 attack.
  • Americana is a 130-item shopper from Scott's of Wisconsin.
  • Wrap it Up is a single sheet Scott's tag brochure that has rolls, tags and trim. Since we do not put roll wrap in Celebrate America, groups that want wrap can slide this sheet inside our custom brochure.
  • Gadgets is a super tag program from Imagination in Action.

Procedure

  1. Project Reservation (required) mailed to QDP at time of signing and prior to any deadlines set by QDP. QDP will return written confirmation to you.
  2. Order-taker portion of the sale is completed and distributor prepares order-takers as requested prior to shipment to QDP for tallying. QDP requests two copies of catalog order forms with each seller's two copies together.  If sending cut-offs, be aware that our accuracy depends upon their careful preparation. We cannot verify totals on cut-offs. QDP will keep cut-offs or one copy of catalog order forms for follow-up verification. 
  3. QDP tallies the orders and orders product, if necessary.
  4. QDP notifies distributor of amount due (unless credit is established) for pre-payment.
  5. Order is packaged and shipped as per distributor's instructions on Project Reservation.
  6. QDP notifies group and distributor of order shipment.

Billing Options

  • to Distributor for prepayment
  • to Distributor with approved credit, personal guarantee, successful payment history and current account balance*
  • to Group with with commission check to Distributor (requires additional agreement with the Group)*

*1.5% finance charge per month on past due accounts.

Reservations

  • Call for reservation forms prior to signing groups. Or download them here.

  • No phoned or verbal reservations can be accepted. 

  • Only QDP-confirmed reservations are valid and scheduled for service.  

  • Unconfirmed orders accepted on "standby" status at QDP's option and will result in delayed service.

Product Returns / Shortages / Replacements

QDP's barcode scanning makes our accuracy second to none.  Because shortage claims cannot be confirmed, QDP invoices for all product shipped and does not credit shortage claims. Damaged product will be invoiced. Credit for reasonable amount of returns shipped at distributor's expense.

Back Orders / Substitutions

In the event of a backorder or substitution, the following steps will be taken:

  • If shipping with backorders, a note will be placed in affected orders. When the product becomes available, it is pre-packed by seller and shipped via regular UPS.
  • If it becomes necessary to send a substituted item, a note will be included in the order to identify the substitution.

Freight

Shipped pre-paid and added to distributor's invoice when shipping to group.  Collect when shipping to Distributor.

Turn Around Time (these times cannot be guaranteed)

  • Normally 1-2 weeks on reserved bulk orders.
  • Normally 2-3 weeks on reserved pre-pack orders.
  • Unreserved orders will take longer.

Requirements

  • Signed and Confirmed Project Reservation
  • Current account balance
  • Distributor personal guarantee (unless prepaid)

Materials Available

Before the sale:  Personalized Pre-Pay Envelopes, Personalized Order Forms, and Roster labels.

Materials Provided

Set of paperwork provided for the group includes Summary Report and Class/Team Report showing sellers with items and dollars sold.  Also, either pack slips or envelopes are packed with the product.  Distributor receives File Page, Summary Report, and Class/Team Reports.

Home Delivery Service

Schools have enough going on as they continue to focus on "time at task". Day Cares are terrified of common carrier deliveries (safety + who gets to unload the truck). Now you can offer Home Delivery. Currently Home Delivery is available only on Brother Jones Artworks single sheet program, but will will be expanding to other product lines soon.

Requirements

  • This is a pre-pay special. Pay for product with orders for FREE Home Delivery.
  • Normal charges for product, tally and pre-pack.

Condition

We ship UPS, FedEx or USPS (our choice). In most cases, we will use USPS postage without signature proof of delivery. A mis-addressed package should come back to us. Our system will automatically print an address label, which makes the potential of an order not shipped very slim. To participate in this FREE SHIPPING offer, we expect you to accept that there will be people call to claim non-receipt who did, in fact, receive their orders. We will charge for replacement product. If we were charging $3 per item or per order, we could be more liberal with replacement, right?

How it works

Our special order form allows for seller's home address plus phone for address clarification, if needed.

We will use USPS, UPS ground, and/or FedEx ground (our choice) to ship your orders to the "seller".

To get FREE Delivery, we will ask for payment with order. We take Visa/Discover/Mastercard.
