Many fundraisers come from non-business backgrounds such as coaching and teaching.
I was a band directory who went into fundraising in 1980 when most fundraisers worked
for large national companies. But, it was easier to see that an individual could make more
money going on his/her own.
So some would start their own companies. Soon, however, the salesperson was needing at
least a day each week to tally, order, track, receive, pack and deliver groups' orders.
After hiring additional people, purchasing a truck, and finding warehouse space, the
experienced salesperson found it necessary to spend several days a week in the office
running the business rather than selling.
Then the painful calculation that, considering both overhead plus lost personal sales
time, running the business was not always as profitable as first thought and are searching
for ways to increase their total profitability and personal sales time.

- Tally your orders. We have been tallying orders for over a decade. Hey,
we wrote the industry-standard program for order tallying. No one can do it better than
QDP. We have finished testing the concept and are now offering electronic order form

- Order product. We can eliminate both the hassle and the inventory from
your having to order all your product. That was much easier when brochures had 20-30
items. Some people tell us they can spend hours just calculating what they need from their
mega-brochures. Consider the extra selling you could have done during that time.
- Pack individual seller orders. We use our own
WinScan barcode
scanning system for Order Accuracy Verification. Click

- Ship to the group. Whether we are using UPS 100wt or one of our discount
carriers, we know how to get the product to your customer in good shape.
- Ship to the Seller. This first option in Home Delivery is
currently available only with our Brother Jones ArtWorks program. Using our special order form that includes a
place for the seller to include his/her home address and phone number (for
address clarification). We will ship that seller's orders directly to him. In
the future, we may expand this service to other brochures.
- Invoice the group.
- Provide toll free customer service to the group. Who is your
customer going to
call when they have a problem or a question? Will they call you and leave a message on
your machine that you will return tomorrow? We are so confident of our ability to tally
and ship accurately, that we allow our total service customers to have their customers
(and even the end purchaser) call our toll free number. We can deal with your situation
immediately and make you look good. We have been doing that for years.
