What, Why, When, How?

From time to time, there will be combinations of updates that may include new or different capabilities as well as corrections for problems that have been brought to our attention.

Rather than emailing or mailing disks, we are utilizing this as a way to post updates and/or corrections where you can download them at your convenience. We will attempt to explain fix that is available on the update in the Readme file.

Be sure that you are downloading the correct service pack for your program!!

WinUltra 2.0 Service Pack

WARNING: This update will ONLY work with WinUltra 2.0. Any attempt to download and use it with earlier versions will cause corruption and we will spend no time trying to help in program or data recovery.

To download the update (single file):

1. Close any WinUltra applications that are currently running.
2. Click on the button below to download the Update. When prompted, click 'Save to Disk'.
   (Note: This file will not fit on a floppy disk.)
3. It is recommended that you download this file to the desktop.
4. Once downloaded, double-click on the file (w20.zip) to unzip it. The file should appear in a new window. Double-click on w20.exe.
5. Click OK to begin installing the Update.
6. Follow the instructions in the Install Wizard to install the Update to your computer.

Note: If your WinUltra 2.0 version is saved to a location other than the default (c:\winv20), you will need to modify the location when prompted during setup. If you are unsure where your program is located, right-click on the WinUltra icon and select Properties. In the middle of the screen will be a Start in field. This is where your program is located.

To download the update to floppy disks:

1. Close any WinUltra applications that are currently running.
2. Click on the button below to download Disk 1. When prompted, click 'Save to Disk'.
3. After the first disk has downloaded, click the button below to download Disk 2.  When prompted, click 'Save to Disk'.
4. You will need to unzip the file before continuing.
5. Insert the first disk into the WinUltra 2.0 computer and go to Start | Run.  Type  a:\setup.exe  and click OK.
6. Follow the instructions in the Install Wizard to install the Update to your computer.  Insert the second disk when prompted.

Quickbooks Users

This file must be downloaded and installed in order to run Quickbooks with WinUltra 2.0. After downloading, you will need to unzip the file by double-clicking it.
